I have learnt a lot from lakme my journey in lakme started as skin expert to skin trainer. Many trainings help us to grow in our carreer. I have acquired lot of knowledge and developed my skill in training. It's a very good place to work.

Lakme is One of the best salon in beauty industry. Company terms and conditions are also so good. Iam very lucky to work on lakme

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

Managerial training should be more frequent. Lengthy Working hours. For mid level managers there should be a better hire and fire policy. No flexible working hours.

Indeed it's challenging. I've to interact with clients on daily basis. I've to understand their requirements and suggest the best available service for them. Have to manage all the upsale and cross sale opportunities. Brand and marketing management.

Actually I worked with lakme academy which also comes under Aptech. Lakme is big brand and Aptech handles business.. And some how it fails. Lakme gives training to their trainers.

I love lakme. Becz the lakme salon works very nicely. But when we talk about Lakme academy. It falls down Becz every academy is a franchise not a branch.. That's why every owner of lakme academy works according to their choice not accordingly procedure given by lakme lever and charge differently from the student and there is no fix s tarting salary for trainer. Less of people knows that academy business is handling by Aptech not by lakme lever. But it affects lakme name not Aptech. Personally I believe lakme lever is big brand and people are lucky who is working with lakme. Lakme lever has some rules and regulations but not every academy of lakme is not following. I did complain mail on lakme lever about that also but no one reply me back. Sad....Read More

I have heard about other branches of lakme academy trainers that they are enjoying their work.. But my experience was a big disappointment. Becz of owner of lakme academy lajpat nagar branch. She misbehave, She do fake promises.
