This was undoubtedly the worst experience in my career While the product itself is good, the way my project was managed was far from ideal. Instead of focusing on meaningful work, it is often felt like the priority was satisfying managerial egos. Even the simplest task became uncomfortable due to the toxic work environment. The blame game was inevitable. If a bug or regression occurred , fingers were pointed rather than finding the solutions being found. Office politics took precedence over actual product delivery , with people indulging in mind games rather than putting in the effort to create something valuable. Poor management lead to repetitive work( considering my project ), had to redo tasks unnecessarily. The stress from this environment took a toll on my well being, I struggled to sleep and my efficiency went down and eventually lost interest into working in software development. At my lowest, i even felt depressed and exhausted even on a 7 hour sleep and realized how deeply it has effected my personal and professional life .
