Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.

Worst company ever, in any company last option is termination of employes but here it is the first option with any kind of small mistake with the employee and if he/she has said something which is not in company favours. They preferred hiring cost but not rethink about employees termination even if they are wrong. Very strict about timings like school. a 1 min delay will mark as half day and will cut your salary even if you are new and didn't know about it. Totally unprofessional organisation. Attendance Policy :- weekly attendance, 6 demo with CA in a week, if you will do 5 demo in a week then your paid day will be 5 only. Travelling Benefits :- No travelling will provide if you won't make 8 demo in a week. Offer letter :- You will get offer letter where your salary won't be mentioned. Bond:- You need to sign 2 years of bond without any awareness of the policy. The worst thing is that they will let you all of the things after competition 8 days of training. This company is froud and after completing the training it's work cluture like centre jail and every person from other department interfere in your work and after completing the work with out issue mark the attendance absent and after joining if you take in emergency leave with in 60days then you will not get the salary of completemonth in this company manager is appointed only for name because only one HR approval is right if manager give the approval for any kind that will be null and void.
