I was contacted by Kalkine India Solutions (Noida) for a Research Analyst role. Before confirming the interview, I clearly asked the HR Shivendra Singh multiple times whether this was a proper Equity Research profile, as I have invested years in building my skills and credentials in this domain — from CFA to real-world industry reports, and more. The HR Shivendra Singh confirmed it was a research role and even shared a Job Description for Equity Research Analyst. I spent hours preparing, building a detailed industry report, brushing up on models, and practicing — only to be told at the interview table: "We don’t have any research role, we’re hiring for Equity Dealer / Advisor (calling and trading job)." What kind of hiring process is this? What kind of HR professionals operate without knowing the actual role they’re hiring for? This is not just a case of miscommunication — this is misleading, unethical, and a blatant disregard for a candidate’s time, energy, and aspirations. Companies like Kalkine India Solutions are damaging the integrity of the hiring ecosystem with such fraudulent practices. To the higher management or CEO Poonal Swiney of Kalkine India : Your HR team lacks basic professionalism and domain understanding. Please reflect on the kind of reputation you’re building by misleading skilled candidates. To my network: Be very cautious when dealing with such firms.
