The HR policy and leave benefits are very good. One of the best in the social development sector.

The Performance review process is very critical. The review you even on the smallest issues. Targets are reviewed very harshly. Often people are put on PIP. You shall always have the fear to lose your job , on having small errors. During appraisal, they even evaluate you on the wrong mail attachment. Hence you shall always be on your toes and kind of a fear of losing your job always lurks around. The appraisal amount is also very minimum, which is 5%....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
