an associate technical leader

Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

At first, my company saw the level of dedication, punctuality and worth i brought and then provided me with all the flexibility i needed through out the year. They promoted me to TL very shortly after saw my worth. For those who works and give their best, intellipaat always back them up with all the facilities. I was promoted again after TL and assigned more responsibilities in the work. I was never afraid of more work as it gives me a challenge to enhance my skill set which it did. Work timings are flexible and not rigid, non toxic environment, people get their own space to innovate . For senior position it is very good.

Dislikes

High degree of mismanagement, lack of ethics, exploitation of juniors, incompetent HR. Office politics , unregularised salaries poor growth, cost cutting in basic employee needs from refreshments to toiletries. Poor conduct with freshers. Very artificial care no remorse for firing.

Work culture is amazing because you get to learn lot of skills from handling patience to providing the solution. Here, I understood the meaning of customer, as they treat their customers as everything. Managers and seniors help you at every step whether it is professional or it is helping you to find a hostel where you are new in the city. Company also conducts small events every month taking care of your mental health by serving good snack, music, games and refreshment.
