Only thing that you have keep in mind if you are getting in as a Technical Support Engineer is that you are signing up for 80-90٪ of night shifts for the whole year. When they hire you they might first put you on payroll of companies like Teamlease or Ranstad and no one can tell when they would actually convert you as an full time e mployee. This really has a big downside as you only get the full benefits once you are a fulltime employee. Delay in this conversion can cause delays in promotions, eligibility for applying for internal roles and getting bonus or variable pay. Only criteria that you have to meet to get considered for conversion to an FTE is a UCAT test which most guys pass before their first date. However, no one can tell when you would get converted to an FTE. Important thing is that seniority or the order that you join the company in does not have an impact on when you will become a Full Time Employee. Whenever you enquire about being converted to an FTE, the answer you receive would probably be "We will let you know once we have openings". You will have to bug your manager or HR to get it done, but as I understand they don't have any role in it or atleast they say they don't. If you are about to receive an offer from Infoblox demand that you need to be on the Infoblox payroll right from the first day and take up the offer!
