A great platform to learn from practically experienced men. Quality and EHS adhering mentality enhances reputation among customers. Co-operative team members join together to complete projects/overhauls. Supportive Seniors. Once found dependable is allowed to lead teams and take decisions. Overall improvement - technical and managerial - can be observed.

Dislikes

Last 4 - 5 years no growth observed in our sector. No increment. Work timings are tough sometimes (ie during overhauls/ servicing). It is a foreman dependent company and payment of them are good and also paid annual incentives. For other employees (including engineers) financial benefits are very poor. Facilities for an engineer anda labour is same if compared for Travelling Allowance and Dearness Allowance. Salary for engineers are very low compared to market value....Read More

I had started to work in construction department.Later on I work in servicing department.After 2 years of experience, I was given the opportunity to lead servicing sites along with the official/managerial department as well (tender, estimate, EHS,etc)

Switch to HCL or Stay in CTS?

I'm presently working with Cognizant at a package of 5.08 LPA remotely with almost 4 yrs of experience in Service Desk.Recently I've received an offer from HCL as a Senior Analyst at a package of 7.2 LPA in Service desk domain but it would be 5 days work from office . I feel that the package is a bit low in HCL as I would be working from the office all days of the week.And also I might be due for promotion in Cognizant in March 2025 which might raise my package to 7 LPA There's also a 12 month service-bond agreement with HCL Kindly advice on what I'm supposed to do Thank You
