You could get the taste or glimpse of how you will be treated in corporate world. Because of IIT tag you could get some opportunities without doing much. Many people are helpful including seniors and juniors. Diversified culture and people from various places will get you to kearn many things.

No work culture and many professors are more focussed on their personal growth than their students. Relations with alumnis is also very poor at IIT Indore. Students could not participate or work with official staff with their own creative ideas or thinking. No new things are implemented because of the fear of failure and money involved which leads IIT Indore to fall behind not only from other IIT's but also from state govt. colleges too....Read More

IIT Kanpur is the stupid workplace in the history of India. The environment is toxic. The professor based workers like Samit Ray Chaudhuri, Suporno , Vinay Kumar Gupta, Chinmay Koley will mentally torture you with their students, and throw you out from balcony..I nearly escaped...If I was a girl situation would have been worse.. avoid this place

If your are research scholar, some babus do not respect you. If you are married, ensure you get accomodation within campus, else you will regret.
