Extremely toxic culture from top down. Managers are non technical and they always have complaints for everything that you do. Real hard work and talent is not valued. Leaves are of no use as manager’s gets instructions to not approve leaves during festival seasons. They don’t approve leave more than 1 day and even for the sick leaveyour manger will have complains. Worst worth life balance as you are expected to work till late night and attend meetings on early morning. Too many meetings and too much work. You will get a warning from HR or manager even if you skip a single meeting. You are expected to work on weekends and nights. Nothing much to write about Hypersonix. Check the number of resignations (on LinkedIn) happening in this company since past 18 months. They have more ex-employees than the employees.

Dislikes

The company has been struggling to build and ship a product. They have lost most of their customers and barely have any revenues. Most of the functions have very few employees and that's expected to get worse. The founders lacks integrity, lots of empty promises, lacks vision, very notorious for changing employee policies at will (especially Indian employees). It had the right team in place and decent customer base. It was all set to takeoff. However, a series of bad decisions completely altered the potential growth story

Dislikes

Extreme poor leadership with no focus. Lot of favouritism going on. Most of the good folks have left the organisation. The valuation greed, lack of perseverance and unhealthy practises have done an irreversible damage.

You can learn new technology and manager was friendly. He helps improve us personally and professionally.

No job security they will say we will give internship and PPO. During internship they will give lot of work on a daily basis and tell you on the last day that company policies been changed and we won't be giving you any PPO.

Hypersonix is not a good place to work. Its employee and customer churn is a huge testament to this.

Dislikes

- Management lacks integrity and competence - The company pivots every few months - The product has too many flaws and not as useful to its target audience as the competition, which is one of the reasons for the latest pivot (and some prior ones as well). There is not much to sell

Since most employees are in India and the management is in the US, work hours often span over 12 hours. The work-life balance is not so great here.
