Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we believe that you have already made up your mind to write generic, misleading & vague comments rather than providing more context for the benefit of the readers of this review. To start with, irrespective of the sector or scale of any business or organisation, customers are an integral part of the revenue earning process, and we are sure that even you would agree that no organisation can truly prosper if they do not prioritize their customers. But at HSC, just like customer centricity, employee centricity also acts as a cornerstone to our foundational values. These are the same values that have resulted in a rich technical & engineering legacy of over 18 years. We are also fortunate to have HSCians who have been with us since our inception and the media tenure at HSC stands at an impressive 6.4 years. In these competitive times and the sector we are operating in, it would not have been possible for an organisation to be on the growth path that we are on without the support of their employees. However, yes, we do agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine. That is why HSC has a policy on flexible working hours, which by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings. As you must also be knowing that the Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves after extended hours. Since we believe what you might be experiencing could be a case of miscommunication, we would encourage you to talk to your manager, engineering group head, engineering head or for that matter with Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. As we walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. You can also leverage the internal platforms like Q2M, Zero Hour, Amber etc. to share your concerns and suggestions anonymously if you wish so. Nevertheless, we wish many more years of your happy association with us.

It is also encouraging to know that you have found work flexibility, learning opportunities and also the latest tech that HSCians work in. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are sure that even you would agree that an organization with “weak management” would not be on the growth path that HSC has been since its inception. It is because of our dynamic leadership and management team that has not only contributed immensely to the culture of employee centricity at HSC but has also led the team through times of adversity including a global pandemic. We would also like you to know that when it comes to job security, we always stand thick and thin with our employees and even with all the noise about “restructuring of teams” we are seeing currently with the sector, HSC has never believed in the practice of layoffs. Also, we have never in the past or present either advertised or aspired as such to be in the topmost quartile as far as compensation is concerned. Our benefits package along with people centric work environment, an enabling family like culture and opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies for global customers makes us one of the best companies to work for in our industry. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your positive review on HSC’s remuneration policies and opportunities available for engineers across because of our esteemed clients and plethora of projects on various domains. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are a little surprised with the limited information that you seem to have about HSC, allow us to help you get a correct perspective of it. More than half of the development work at HSC, across locations, is in Enterprise Application development using Java, JS & J2EE related technologies. There are multiple on-going projects where we are working with the latest Java releases including Java 12/13, Spring frameworks, React JS & Angular JS latest releases for UI/Front end development and current best practices related to Micro services, DevOps (Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.). These technologies are getting applied in projects related to Telecom (especially for OSS/BSS related development), Retail (Footfall Analytics etc.), Hospitality (WiFi onboarding etc.), IoT (Home Security Applications, etc.), Video Streaming/OTT (Quality of Experience & Content Management System, Learning Management System, etc.). Apart from this, HSC also works on AI/ML enabled enterprise applications and in data & image/video analytics. We also have extensive channels of communication for employees to voice their concern.
