No role clarity Too much politics Lot of favouritism Pathetic management (GCB4 and GCB 3 level in GBM especially) Not a great place for those who are ambitious.

Role clarity is missing in GBM area. A project manager can be asked to do Production Support one fine day without any choice. So it's a sad state of affairs.

The only thing which I did not like about hsbc was, salary hike is not discussed during appraisal time, and once you get the number there is no scope for discussion.
