With having good mines & world class Smelters of Zinc & Lead , the company can provide lot of employment opportunity to young bright Engineers & other graduates . To be very honest after working for many years , i found it focus is more on production nos. rather than other aspects like skill development & safety .

Dislikes

No growth opportunity for Engineers who are continued from PSU era . I joined as GET in 1986 after clearing all India level exam & interview . I held responsible position like SBU Head , operation Head & Plant Head after take over by Sterlite . While considering for promotion only guys with Sterlite brand got advantage without any core competency. There is no transparency in administration regarding promotion & other benefits . PSU era executives are pushed out of the Company by taking stern action whenever there is any accident. Present management lacks in Vision & transparency ....Read More
