It was a challenging role, team's and Manager support gave so much boost for my performance. As it was a 6 months project, it was all in a rush to learn fast and perform in the first week of my joining. Thanks for appraisals , rewards and recognition given. Work policy: As it was a short term crucial project which required flexible timelines to login daily, it was all wfh , I could spend maximum time to work instead of travelling.

Workplace politics and lobbying. Rewards and compensation is not transparent. Things that are documented in the full year appraisal are not adhered to. The compensation benefits like company shares come with a 3 year lock-in period, which means at any point of time your less than 3 year old shares that is part of your compensation will be at risk if you decide to quit or switch from this organisation. The internal job posting process is a scam as you won’t even get considered for a role as there always would be a preferred candidate. People who are close to the hiring manager get considered for the role even if their working experience is no where near the job requirements. The function which i work in got restructured twice in a period 9 months just because people in the senior leadership thought there was a need to do so. Infact the third time the restructuring that happened was to roll back to initial structure which we began with. All of this chaos with no regard for the people working in these roles. And the no recognition whatsoever for people working in the function who ensured the ball on execution doesn’t get dropped while the transition happens. The best thing about Hindustan Unilever is that we understand very well of trainee promoters and we understand the promoters in our CRT or OFT very well. We have very good knowledge of the product.

Dislikes

We are not able to find any parks etc. in the area to give training. That is why I face a lot of problems. I am in trouble while giving training.
