Following are the things i like about working at Hindustan petroleum... Working culture Discipline Punctuality Seriousness Helping nature officers.

Dislikes

There are many things but I mentioned most important as follows. The Only thing which i totally hate in this job is rotating shift. You have to do 2 night, 2 second & 2 first shift due to it's 24hrs operation philosophy. You can't do any extra activities ( like gym and study for govt. Exams ).

our expection is to secure our job and atlist give the salary hike on yearly basis. we are working as engineer and ,we all do whatever a HPCL officer doing. The salary package is very disapointing.

What I like about this organization is the salary (which is comparatively higher than the market).

A lot to talk about, 1. Work culture - Terrible experience (high level of politics and managers used you for their benefits) 2. Manager behavior - Terrible, I even saw some of them just yelling at contract workers and showing no respect for them 3. Work-life balance - Way poorer, had to work 16-18 hours sometime because of rail loading/unloading
