There is scrutiny for female interns. Exposure is comparatively lesser than the male counterparts when in comes to off-desk task in the court.

Work Details

The work was largely focused on commercial litigation and arbitration cases. As an intern I was assigned new legal research everyday after court hours. During the court hours, the interns would observe the proceedings and draft case notes.

High court is a court not a company. Before starting practicing as an advocate keep in mind that there is no job security in this profession. This is an appellate court so work comes from District court and you have to procure work from District courts. There is a good career growth and opportunities if you have good links and good social circle. Overall good work culture and learning opportunities ....Read More
