I liked the kind of responsibility that was given on me along with the ownership of that responsibility. Being in Hero Motocorp, I was the sole decision maker for my territory. The colleagues were really supportive, so were some of the seniors. At any time, the company didn't shy away from getting an employee trained be whatever thecost. The worst thing about HMCL is that this is a solely people driven organization. There is a process for everything but it is tweaked on a daily basis based on the people involved in the process. Company had decent travel policies which took care of all provisions for employee's genuine comfort. However, most of these policies were subject to the approval of immediate seniors (It was a culture like that). The seniors in my case would intentionally reject these policies and would make lives less easier for all of us. These kind of cheap tricks are prevalent in Hero Motocorp and there is no escaping that. Work like balance is... well let's say it's an imbalance. You are required to work 24*7. Last, the RnD is pathetic. Being in aftersales, we often came across basic issues which shouldn't have been there in the vehicles at all. Then there were some issue for which there were no solution for three-three years....Read More
