Workload is too much for the ground level employees, you don't get a chance to breath. Salary is peanuts that's given to the employees working on the ground level whereas the employees working at mid-level and above get big fat paychecks. NO BONUSES OR SHIFT ALLOWANCES provided to the employees. Mid-level and above Managers are abusive and ruthless to the employees. They are partial and differentiate the employees. Don't expect work satisfaction if you are working for a Client Facing role because most of the time you will be put at client facing roles even if you change your project multiple times for different locations within HCL you will still be given Client Facing Roles. (Be Careful of the Banking/BFSI Client Facing Roles-It's Just one of their clients) You need to beg for Promotions and Appraisals even if you perform well or average, if you get it well and good otherwise don't except anything from HCL. Company Culture is toxic, no matter wherever you go around in HCL it's too toxic. Don't Depend or believe too much on the HR's in what they say they are untrustworthy. 1- No location preference given to employees. 2-You do not get to decide which project you can work upon. They will allocate you to a project completely different from your skill set even worse no specific KT will be given related to the new project. Just learn by working. 3- Appraisal cycles are worst. Even when you get it. It sometimes takes 6-8 month to get reflected in your salary(although added as a cumulative and given). 4- Please do not expect any kind of mercy from your Project Manager/HR to them you are just bonded labours. HR acts like she doesn't even know she is responsible to our concerns. 5- They won't release you from projects even after completing 2 years. 6- Client satisfaction is everything.
