Company focussed on building products and adding new verticals. It has growth mindset

Dislikes

Company work culture has been hampered because of multi lateral working scenarios.. Trade retail mentality of top management hampering project business. Undue pressure in system exhibited by Managers and language is not so good. Despite complaint nobody will take stand against rogue/ rough behaviour.

The company policies like Care leave policy, the food and inter department culture is very nice.

Dislikes

The salary structure and the compensation process is very complex which does not help the employee like the Variable pay system in case if the employee is leaving the organisation in mid year then he or she is not eligible for the variable pay on pro data basis.

Company has appointed extra employee for the same work, and it creates complexity, and the working guy also don't working because of non working guy and at the end of the day performer employee leave the organisation. Like me.

Company policies are very good and employee can do work for so many years.. Management will listen and help for ground level problems and activities.. As an employee we can assure to channel partners for their future business growth. Overall well organised and focused company on their visions. And company will involve employees too..

Dislikes

Only one I don’t like is that company will spend lakhs of amount for market activities. But zonal business head don’t have any budget to engage the team or other activities.. All financial matters taken care by head office only.

I like the fact that you can learn from every department and approach higher level seniors in case you want to enhance your knowledge. There is no restrictions like if you are working in quality department then you are bound to know about that only ,there is nothing like that

Sometimes you are overburden with the irrelevant responsibilities irrespective of your working criteria also there is very less hike and WFO is mandatory even if you can wfh but they don't allow . Only 12 leaves other than festival leave No medical leave except 7 sick leave out of that 12 leaves that I have mentioned in above point .

Less work pressure as an MT. Curated MT program. Brand value in market. Free meals in HO. Reimbursement rates & timely salary/reimbursement disbursement. Company culture. Saturday offs. (Not sure for others)

Less salary for MBA grads. Little slow process, kind of red tapism but that's changing. More field job & high travel,but they reimburse for that, so that depends.

Havells name is a very big brand in india and other country. It's every products is well and good. Either product domestic and commercial.

Havells is a very good brand as I tell above. There is no security with job . Work pressure is very high . Work load is very high. No excuse will be taken of the employees side.

Culture is toxic, complex, highly political and not at all employee friendly. It's management is totally money minded and doesn't bother if down the line employees are getting harrassed by old employees.

This company heavily discriminates between Havells & Lloyd, specifically regarding the Branch Marketing role. Lloyd marketing guys enjoy without any work pressure & get good salary hikes while in Havells one works 7 days a week & under huge work pressure and when it comes to appraisal, all your works are generalised. If someone wants to join Lloyd division, it's okay, one can enjoy 5 days of work & work-life balance, but in Havells, your personal life & health will be doomed. Even senior management has turned a blind eye to this discrimination and has done nothing to improve it. I've faced such discrimination & was heavily demotivated. In Havells you manage marketing activity for 17-18 verticals with 4 different brands, while in Lloyd only one brand. One branch of Havells spends around 2-3 crore in a year, Lloyd hardly 10-15 lacs. One can see the difference in the budget & corresponding efforts to execute it. On top of that, the travel policy, travel eligibility, local conveyance etc are horrible. Not advisable to travel if your designation is below Senior Manager. The company spends millions on dealers and not a single penny on employees. In 10 years, I didn't see any employee engagement activity. Moreover, the 5 days working is a myth. The local branch head will call you in the office or ask you to visit market on Saturday (applicable for Havells employees, not for Lloyd).
