Managemet have told employees that there will be 16-17 hours a day work and people will get fall sick we know but we cant help it thats the mandate of the company. What I liked the most is people were incompatible and always tend to avoid work or taking proactive initiatives. That's led me to take the opportunity to the next level on my own to deliver good quality work towards my clients. Yes, in that way I learnt a lot!

Dislikes

The work culture was too bad, people were too lethargic to push the envelope to deliver quality works towards the client. Because people had ample of free time, most of them used to do internal politics to survive their career. The management was disgusted.

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
