One good thing about Harman is you can directly have a word with the higher authority people and their response will always be satisfactory

Dislikes

Pathetic work life balance, Toxic culture, worst managers with one and only skill i.e micromanagement. They don’t invest time in employees skill development

In Harman, we can get opportunities to learn and explore new technologies, the teamwork and company culture are good as well.

There is a lack of job security in the HARMAN, with minimal salary hikes.

I worked in the client location in the client office, only once did i meetup with 5-6 harman employees, so could not really imbibe much in the company culture

Higher Staff do politics In Harman International pune, Maharashtra. They form a Maharashtrian cluster and they don't want someone from other states specially from North side get promotion or good appraisal. When i was in harman all the guys from UP gets very less hike and didn't get any promotion. At last if you are from UP don't gopune office choose any other locations. As johndeere client, no any likes are there.

Dislikes

If Johndeere is a client, don't join this company. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the office, it's like being jailed. It's like slavery. Johndeere makes every decision, including hikes. You will be harrassed by Johndeere leads a lot. Their work is also given to you.

This was the first company where I saw Indians held senior roles & behaved equal (sometimes superior) to foreigners

Dislikes

Maybe it was specific to my VP but the work environment was very toxic. Women were treated as secretaries. Because the team is global, work was 24/5 & your work was not recognized or appreciated, it was taken for granted. No support from HR, they only reacted to the VP.
