The usual increment is very low like 7-10 percent maximum. Some years there is no increment at all. Promotion happens every four years mostly. So growth within company is almost NIL. Support functions are paid very less in general. The entire company is Sales driven. Hence there is a very good scope for people in Sales and Marketingside.
