A few weeks ago, I started at Godrej Infotech as a Senior Executive, fresh out of college. We began with sessions from senior management that provided valuable insights into the company's history and personal growth opportunities. We then had both technical training with an external instructor and business understanding sessions which offered extensive business knowledge. Throughout the onboarding process, the management was supportive and helped understand the company culture. The huge campus impressed me with its large biodiversity and greenery. Besides work, there are amenities like clubhouse, canteens and breakrooms for relaxation and health. There are various employee engagement events throughout the year. Dislikes

The huge campus may also be a drawback as the shuttle frequency is low which means you might have to wait or walk sometimes. It is recommended to have a personal vehicle if possible. Additionally, you will be required to sign a bond agreement while joining so you might need to take that into account.

- Terrible pay structure - heavy deductions, low basic and meager increments - Slow promotions - it might take several years even to get a single promotion here - No growth - Stagnant career, no opportunities to explore and grow - Old and outdated technologies - no Linux, uses .NET Framework instead of Core or MVC applications, older OS and software versions, no exposure to cloud - Training given is surface-level, even for freshers. Expectations, however, are very high - No guidance about work, no work planning from managers because even they have no clue about technologies - they're just good at approving leaves and micromanaging employees. That's what they're really good at - No canteen facilities (bring your own lunch or walk a mile and have an expensive meal at a canteen far away from office) - Work from office 4 days a week - no flexibility to choose between WFH and WFO - Shuttle frequency is quite low, even in peak hours, so we have to walk from the campus gate to the office, which takes approx. 20 minutes at average walking pace - Employee efforts are unnoticed. Nobody gives a damn about the employees. Would get to learn new technologies/skills when on bench, Also the organisation is slowly turning to agile process.

billable projects are never been assigned to new resources atleast in my-case. Open door policy is only a verbal basis needs to be implemented much efficiently within teams. One needs to wait very patiently for a hike.
