1. Category heads seem to occupy their roles merely as placeholders, passively awaiting retirement, with no original thoughts or opinions of their own to contribute. 2. Opex head and category managers, these individuals have collectively turned the entire department into a mess, making it impossible for any hardworking person to stay and contribute effectively. 3. There's not much to say about HR—I've never encountered someone so dishonest. They were always full of excuses, spinning tales about ‘market correction’ for the past two years. Now, I've left the company, but the so-called market correction is still nowhere in sight. 4. The company’s F&F settlement process typically takes 45 days, but ever since I left, I’ve been repeatedly following up with HR regarding my F&F dues and relieving letter. HR keeps giving excuses, saying things like “I’ll send it tomorrow,” or claiming that their senior isn't available. When I asked again, they said its pending approval with SSC. However, upon checking with SSC, I was informed that they’ve been emailing my BHR for the past two months, awaiting NOC clearance. Meanwhile, HR has continued to bluff and mislead me throughout the process. 5. The Operations Head is quite a character. She is short-tempered and refuses to consider others' opinions, consistently imposing her decisions on the team. If her decisions turn out to be wrong, she shifts the blame onto others. She is perpetually immersed in corporate politics and displays a high level of egoism. 6. The operations heads and category managers seem to enjoy unlimited leaves themselves, yet when someone else requests time off, they're questioned about why they need it or reminded about a recent leave they took. They even have the audacity to suggest planning sick leaves, which is utterly ridiculous. 7. Some category managers, on the other hand, have a habit of arriving late to the office and leaving early. Job stability is good, but the culture will make you want to quit soon.

People from MNC should never join GMR. You will be in for an absolute shock with the culture here. People have to be called as sirs and madams and have a fragile ego. There is micro management and it's a school atmosphere with absurd rules related to seating or dress code. On paper we are given 40 leaves but leaves are not at all approved. Most of the leaves expire by year end because leaves are not approved. The process is lengthy and very backward. Still signed offer letter are required in the era when the whole world has moved towards paperless documentation. HR department is a joke here. They offer candidates less than what they are currently drawing. Fms is bad. Office reeks of mould and if full of cockroaches and mouses. Coffee vending machines never work. GMR is a infrastructure company, they will build and operate asset. Once the asset build work is over they will dismantle the team and start reliving from the organization. It is for 2 years or 3 years of job.

Company is good to work especially after 50 years or at the last stage of retirement. This is the reason Young person are leaving the organisation and old people are still there.

1.Horrible Culture in Opex department with management not from Sourcing background with lack of managerial skills. In AGM and GM. 2.Treat employee very bad after resignation. 3.Horible procurement process as they just focus on TAt.How a person can negotiate 1 lacs in 25 days and 1 crore in 25 Company focus on Purchase rather than procurement.They are focusing on Artificial intelligence implementation but due to poor guidance of senior management as they are not from Sourcing background it will definitely fail. 4.Tech still not there , doing all works manually even having Ariba but due to management not from Sourcing background unable to utilise Ariba. 5.You will be confused who is your manager. 6.Manager don't have single work to do just company is good so unable to see that and they are at last stage of retirement. 7.Havent seen the big Liar Hr in my career .
