One of the best team I ever worked with. No micro managing and the team was willing to let me learn if I didn't know anything. I have seen elsewhere that during the interview process itself, the managers try to ask a lot of questions and require candidates to know them by heart.

The best part about General Motors is their work culture. They have best work culture in terms of inclusion, diversity, employee engagement and respect. Every seem to have career development plan and managers behave best of leadership practice.

Dislikes

The Salary in comparison to it's global competitive seems to be less but work culture they offer is great and peaceful. Also they don't have onsite opportunity for everyone

Great company to work for. Good work life balance. There are lots of opportunities to work on a wide range of applications and tech stacks. There are a wide range of teams and management styles. If you work hard you will be rewarded with better raises, bonuses and advancement opportunities. The benefits are good. Vacation is great -15 days at start, 20 days after just 2 years and 25 after 10. Plus 14-17 holidays each year including the whole week between Christmas and New years. Great 401k matching.
