Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? I joined fiat India as a GET . IF You are from an NIT then its useless to join fiat, its like you should keep in mind that you will leave within a year and you will pay them 3 lakh just to leave. They will give department according to them not according to what knowledge and skills you have.
