The senior management is very narrow minded and are least bothered about the employees. Working hours starts after 1 because of the the senior management and nobody questions against them. If you do that then there will politics which will be played against and you will be sidelined from all the main project work. Working over weekend is a blessing for the seniors, the inefficiency is such that the senior management is not available more than half of the time throughout the week and you will be forced to come over the weekend. It will be told that the senior management will be use to of working only in nights hence the team working under his group has to wait till night.
