India is a shared service centre that does not exist in the scheme of things for the top management guys. They seem to consider this place like some condemned cell filled with fools and just run miles away from anything to do with India.This operates like a totally independent entity and is run by 3 cunning people called India management the GM,the finance & ssc head and the HR head who lack capability and competence.They specialise in dirty corporate politics,gossip,rumour mongering and spreading hate among the people.The top management is well aware of everything but chooses to be a dumb spectator because they are clueless of what they actually want or maybe they dont want India at all.Bullying, high employee turnover,no JD,no appraisals, no induction, low employee morale is considered normal here.If you are willing to be buttering the people who are favorites to the SSC head and nod in agreement to everything wrong and tell several lies in support of the India management to the top management you will get 100% increment as well as retention bonus in lakhs of rupees and work from home ,if not you will get 0% and be targeted for nothing. This place will bring down your self confidence to the bottom. They lure you with high salaries and designation and get qualified people to work as glorified data entry clerks and report to people who have neither education nor experience.. 1) There is no employee motivation 2) They just hire the employees to put on PIP 3) There are no any function/ activities for employees. Employees do not expect any monetary at least team bonding activities etc. but they do not have it at all. Just Diwali and Dusssera in that also onshore ask to work you even though there is celebration going in office. 4) Everybody talk here only negative. No Job security, delay in increment, insecurity and politics in every department , no trust, bad work culture, resignation is a joke , HR do not reply to mails , they think they are God of Enermech, some resign and make fun blaming others openly, high turnover, HR nearing retirement age, keeping spending time, watching swimming pool, they make fun of employees, fun and gossip everywhere, HR good in repairing chairs, and AC . they create problems in employee life . plotting against people, and showing a wrong picture to senior. they wear innocent mask when they hire , and it is joke to fire employees here. The Management, particularly those in the Mumbai office, seems to lack an understating of the oil and gas industry and how these companies operate.As they come from different sector and are trying to impose a rigid, college-like structure on the workplace, with strict timings for every activity, including breaks and lunch hours. This approach feels out of place in the industry.
