Management Accountant - Night Shift

We have an opening for the position of Management Accountant for Mumbai location (Night Shift).

It would be preferred if you have prior work experience working for USA as a Management Accountant

Role Description

This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Management Accountant based in Mumbai. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including the preparation of financial statements, management of accruals, and the application of analytical skills. Additionally, the Management Accountant will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting weekly cash forecasting for a 15-week period.
• Managing accounts payable payment runs.
• Processing payroll payments.
• Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and overseeing account management.
• Managing bank facilities, including loans, overdrafts, factoring, and compliance.
• Handling cash management tasks such as transfers, payment posting, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
• Assisting in audits.
• Forecasting tax liabilities.
• Consolidation of the balance sheet.
• Driving continuous improvement through the enhancement of systems, processes, and procedures.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required by the Financial Controller.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant finance & accounting experience.
• Prior experience in multi-national company in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements and manage accruals
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to recognize trends and patterns in financial data

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
• Experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors is a plus
• Proficient in Excel and other financial software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
