Visiting the various hotel venues for a corporate event & the possibility of some well deserved free lunch.

Absolutely NO WORK / LIFE balance. The schedule was scheduled from week to week. That's not conducive for any adult with a relationship, a family, and with kids to live by. You could now plan anything in your life unless you did so MONTH AGO..and that time off wasn't even guaranteed even if you put it in writing to your director. The pay was way below the minimum for the amount of work & knowledge you have to posses to do the various jobs required. The equipment that Encore would sell to their clients was severely out dated, as well as malfunctioning. It was also heavily over priced which would infuriate most clients. The old equipment would usually malfunction during a live event, cause massive clients refunds to upset & disappointed clients. Also the hotels would expect the impossible within the limits they would stipulate, causing even more problems. The Encore staff was usually overrun by men who had something to prove with their very minute amount of audio/ video knowledge. They always felt the need to "show off" what they think they were knowledgeable of, which was usually inaccurate at best. And finally, come summer time, your work hours would fall drastically!! You could go from having 60 hours/ week to during the summer, having 20 HOURS per week! This would go on for at least 3 month of having "Part-time" hours even though you were hired as a full time employee. After covid going back to work was not easy they should look for hybrid models or work from home options for back office and for those guys who are non productive.

They guys are paying 50 percent of our salary ..already our salary is nothing and now they are deducting half of the amount and they have decided to leave us now ...

Nothing but no job security is here. All i observed now they will kick you if you will not perform or if they dnt required you.
