Great team. Good support from department. Changing culture from Indian corporate to American MNC. Work environment is good. Transport facilities are available. A lot of online resources to study. Technical as well as non technical. If freshers want to get into Oil and Gas or valve industry then it is a good place to start if you get industry standard salary.

Dislikes

A lot of internal opportunities within Emerson, but very few people get them since manager approval is required even to apply. If new roles/opportunities/projects are not available and if you don't take initiatives you will reach a stagnation point within 3 to 4 years in terms of work profile even if your designation keeps changing to senior positions. Salaries are below par. Steps are being taken to raise them to industry standard but implementation is slow. Workload distribution is skewed.
