May be the tech stack in few of the team is old

Likes

Most of the legacy projects / services are upgrading their tech stack to market standards. Best for freshers with the exposure and hands on experience they get from the projects and other in-house activities. Also, provides good work life balance. Cons: Most of the projects have dependency on US teams which leads to late night calls.

Dislikes

The compensation is not competitive and it’s not corrected for people staying for longer periods.

Work Details

Best part is I got to wear many hats like front end, back end, devops and to learn them from best. The project had collaboration with multiple dev teams, stakeholders.

Employees have to work with US team mates and they are very helpful and supportive. Every sprint 1-1 will be scheduled with team mates by managers in US as a casual discussion about things going around about the project and teammates. Nothing good about India Ellucian except there will be events conducted occasionally.

Dislikes

When it comes to India team there is a lot of bitching between the team mates and too much racism between north indians and south indians. People are judgemental towards others and make fun of others if something went wrong . There are sub groups in the project groups. Seniors including managers scrum masters are not capable of handling such situations . When u complain, you becomes the culprit. Everyone think they are smart. Even HR shows as they are promising but they take everything for granted....Read More

Don't expect hike. Everything else is achievable

Repeated change of hike cycle to delay avoid hikes
