There are many Business units where you can learn many things about the products and business of EASTMAN if the manager/leadership team allows.

Many things and it never resolve! * Work life balance: Only manager/leadership favorite people's receive the flexibility and support. * Promotions: Never expect this in PSRA team. If you are good in bucketing you might get it, or else never expect any advancement in the levels, no opportunity to grow if you have the experience and ex pertise. <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> * HR and management team completely follows the FUNCTIONAL managers/directors feedback</mark>. Best work-life balance, Higher management is very supportive. Leadership is doing the best to keep ourselves happy. Colleagues at PSRA are very friendly and supportive in nature. Adopted a Hybrid model and very flexible in the timings.

1. No free transport- Office timings are from 11 AM to 8 PM and there is no transportation facility made available for employees which is a major drawback. Providing transportation would be good majorly in terms of safety (specially for women it would be really difficult to travel at 8 PM that too through public transport). 2. No add itional Benefits - And there is no team outings or Annual outings which would add as additional beneficiaries for employees and encourages employees to put more efforts after great refreshments. 3. No on site visits - Eastman is not encouraging to visit sites at different locations for employees, i think they should provide this opportunity to all the employees in a rotational method (rather than sending same person repeatedly for visits or trainings)so that everyone gets a chance to visit the site and can enhance skills which in turn add more value to the job role they are performing....Read More

No major concerns to point out. There are minor flaws in any system but when the management is highly supportive & employee friendly, there is no harm to get adaptable with the system.

Company culture is really good and provides good work-life balance. I like the work nature with great collaboration of peers and counterparts. Medical insurance is very much helpful. Safety is company's utmost priority.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but the growth is slow. Promotion period is long. Although company's culture is great, it has become diluted up to some extent because of micro-management in recent past, which may eventually turn multinational firm to Indian firm. It would have been really helpfu l if company provide transportation facility to all the employees. Eastman provides healthy work environment and constantly encourage people to explore even out of work, like Toastmasters, cultural activities, volunteer works etc. Good work culture and supportive team and management, always encourage you to think and explore OOTB. The company policies like leave system, Medical benefits are good. Management is good, but I feel that it can be better. Also, there is less scope for promotions and move upwards in the line of hierarchy as of now, if there is good number of levels for positions/roles , it may create a good opportunity for well deserved candidates to be promoted in their line of work. Its a good ethical company with helpful and understanding leadership in Hyderabad and at Kingsport. The culture is varied depending on different teams but overall its good and less political.
