The initial pay is good. You can expect min 10% hike every year

Dislikes

WLB is a myth in Deloitte Managers expect you to work min 12 hrs daily Even the technologies we work on are very outdated Most of the projects are 2-11 shift

Email communication for Retention?

I received a retention offer from my company and I was expecting to receive an email communication about the revised CTC approval/confirmation. My manager and I also had a prior discussion in Nov about this. Though the offer is approved, I am yet to receive a formal email. I did follow up with my manager about the same and he suggested to go ahead and inform the other company HR about my offer withdrawal. But he has not sent the email confirmation yet. What should I do? It will be a delay to inform other HR, but I will feel more comfortable and aligned with an email communication, which was anyway discussed before. Feeling stressed. Kindly suggest.

There is no work life balance and so much internal politics. There is so much on networking and building strong network with upper management to get promotion. People cant get promotion based only on their work . They have to work after office hours or work on weekends to get it. If someone asks for change on project, they will get it after so much begging but later their manager will take revenge by giving bad rating...Read More
