Learn to work under pressure. Top level management is very nice & supportive, but there is a problem with the senior level management. The middle mgt. is not aware of his/her job profile & lack of the leadership qualities as a team leader.
Dislikes
Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Seniors do not value an individual's unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times.

Job security, as usually found in Corporates and Private sector, depends on the performance of employees. Work Environment is good enough but one has to avoid being victim of nasty Politics. Salary and Appraisal is also good but negotiation is a tool for greater success. There are opportunities for Career growth but that needs optimum efficiency in respective field.

Salary and Appraisal should be more lucrative, logical, effective and affirmative which may show employees a fairly secured future. Growth is quite slow. Perks and Facilities, excluding the Salary Package, should be little more effective and financially helpful in nature. Salary increment is an area of doubt at times which effect adversely in retention of employees. Sometimes Suggestions and Innovations go unnoticed. Lack of necessary manpower and efficient hands in Administration is a huge shortcoming and the area of HR/PR/Liaison/Clerical Works and School Administration seems highly underrated....Read More

Literally Nothing. Apart from few colleagues, the work environment is suffocating. Principal ma'am is a decent lady. But her position is also very weak. She is just a puppet of management. She can't even protest when an employee get terminated without any valid reason. I have not found any positive vibes here. The secretary of principal ma'am is very helpfull lady. She can help you whenever you required. But she has to obey the Management rule too. Hence don't desire much help from her. Well , almost everything. First the little brat who is the director now. Pretend to be a jack of all trade and master of all. But actually he can't understand a simple accounting transaction after detail discussion. He is just a joker , nothing else. Very arrogant and always try to humiliate people for small mistake. Ill mannered office staffs ..When i left after working there for 3months i didnt ask for experience letter..I repeatedly called and asked them to give me a formal letterhead where it should be written that i am no longer a daprt of DPS,Durgapur.The office people lied to me about principal being out of town 5-6times and the respected prinicipal too didnt even bother to reply to my mails ..Because of this i lost ny valuable job in Cognizant later on. 6. too much of stayback..When u get a job they say there is only two days of stayback..Later on they keep extending it almost to everyday.. No respect for new teachers. My two colleagues have decuded never to become a teacher again after being frustrated of working here!!
