There is not a single thing to like about dangote refinery. It's a worst phase of somebody's carrer.

Dislikes

No HR and administration management. Everything is translucent. In so many years they are not able to make a proper system for their employees or expats. There is no policy of employees work safety management can't able to provide basic PPE's to their employees. Salaries are not credited on monthly basis. Leave and travel arrangements have to be done by your own which should be handled by companies management. I worked at Dangote for over 12 years and was very impressed with the ethos and work ethics of the company. The look after their staff and have developed an excellent traing curriculum towards self improvement of skills.

Well I came back as a very satisfied employee and have to particular reason to dislike anything about this highly professional company. They have done a great service to the youth and economy of Nigeria.

Actions are being taken to correct the gaps in pay structure, in a phased manner. There have been certain procedural delays in some key processes. They are now being identified and addressed one after the other. This is a positive sign.

Company policies are good, there is no salary deduction. Arranging timely medical supports and constructive mental support to employees. Sanitizing regularly in all office and vehicles, keeping sanitizers in every office front office.
