Job Security - None. Work Culture : Extensive Work Pressure. There are 400+ services in CSC. You are to cover each and every services. There are a lot of services which requires sales and marketing. Some are demand driven and many are supply driven services. Target on insurance, banking , Grameen Estore and several services requires you to push/force your VLEs to do. In the case, the VLEs cannot comply, headache will be on you. There's no Holiday in CSC. We have to work from Monday to Saturday and sometimes Sunday too. Besides, I'm always on my phone either attending online video conference or tending to VLEs calls from the time I got up till the time I'm sleeping. There are approximately 180 active VLEs under me. Each day, I have to make calls to 20-50 VLEs on average asking/requesting them to do something and receiving calls from 10-20 VLEs on the different issues they face. There are other people apart from VLEs that you need to call or receive call from i.e the different officials from line department whom you're working with. WhatsApp is the main mode of communication, you are to constantly check your WhatsApp for any updates/messages from your higher authority which needs to be reply OR for any issues/doubts the VLE ask. Management : I personally don't like the management. For any services launched or any task bestowed or target nos given you will get instructions via mail. The rest you have to figure it out. Poor Service Delivery : There are lots of services provided by CSCs. But, all are not RELIABLE. Services like DTH Recharge, BBPS Electricity, Mobile Recharge, PAN Card Services, Passport services, Flight Ticket Booking, Railway Ticket Booking, Digipay Banking and many which are delivered to citizens on daily basis; These needs to beatleast at a 99.998 / 98.999 percent success rate, however that is not the case. There are times when you are you are doing a mobile recharge. The money has been deducted from CSC Wallet however doesn't reach Customer account. And the money will take 3/4/5/6/7/8/9.....days to be refunded to CSC wallet. There are times while adding money to CSC Wallet. Money has been deducted from Bank Account but will take 1/2/3 days to reach CSC wallet. These are just some examples which occurred frequently. There are still many others. Centralisation : The technical team is only in Delhi. For any issues, failed payments, refunds, transaction failures etc. You need to contact technical team in Delhi to resolve the issues....Read More
