Worst Place to work, no work ethics within the team. Founder and Co-founder both are useless creatures. They dont have any growth plans of the company just fooling people. Making students fool in the name of Internships at NUS, and grabbing hard earned money of their parents approx above 5 lacs. Dont join this organization ever please.

Corporate Gurukul is a good place to explore different verticals and get an understanding of end-to-end operations instead of being stuck to exactly your role. It's a very small team which amounts to loaded pressure but the team is closely knit so everyone is willing to support in whatever way possible.

Dislikes

The frequent strategy changes and the learning sessions could perhaps be done away with it seems to send the teams off-track, the quality of work degrades.

It's a great place to work if you are used to the start-up culture or are looking to get into one. A lot of opportunities to work in various roles. That's one thing I like about the company and my role. Personally had the chance to work in sales (UAE and India), Digital Marketing, Product, and projects. A small team so no shortage of responsibilities. I like how involved the management team has been. Created a really nice wfh culture for the team. Earlier, work hours used to stretch but active steps were taken after feedback. Rules have been put in place now and work never goes beyond 7. Since it's a learning and development company, a lot of emphasis is given on product and skill training. Sometimes roles used to overlap a lot and it would get really difficult to manage multiple roles at the same time. The workload used to increase. The management has been taking steps to improve this, and it has improved a lot, but still room for improvement

I have been a part of the company for 6 years (closing in on 7). Its a highly ambitious firm with start-up culture at its core. We want to move, fail and succeed extremely fast. Work and life at Corporate Gurukul ain't a regular 9-5 job. The only way to survive here is to own up every single thing you do. The day you don't - you fail. The learning curve is steep. I was setting the sales target for my region and designing new products when my peers were getting their targets and memorizing product pitches. There are very few examples around you to draw comparisons. The grass does momentarily seem greener on the other side, but then you see your incentives :) I did witness a lot of failures and was asked to go back to the drawing board to reevaluate every single time, but never spoon-fed. It's about learning and doing something new every day. Work and success at CG is a marathon and not a sprint. Witnessing all the above (and reaping their benefits) took 3 years. It didn't happen in 3-6 months. I have undergone two major personal transitions while working here - marriage and motherhood. I had immense support to take up the roles of a wife and a mom not just from the management but colleagues as well. My salary currently is at least 20% more than my peers working in other industries which is always credited by 2nd (if not 1st) of every month.
