Senior management does not have a long term vision about evolution and synergies between different departments. Hence, they are unable to utilize available resources to the fullest. More often than not, erstwhile senior leaders have no idea about on the ground realities of the real estate sector in their cities so they are unable toabsorb and implement any new thought process which comes with hiring resources from competing firms. Lots of wrong promises are made while hiring resources. HR, in particular, is very shady. Physical infrastructure of some offices is highly debatable. Many senior resources with limited exposure and semantic capabilities often take undue advantage of their role to sideline new hires, lest they start gaining more visibility than them. And in a carefully crafted manner, many department heads often put these resources on exit paths as the Indian operations are run in an extremely cost sensitive manner. The culture in the company is good. There is flexibility or employees to work from home. Although may not applicable to employee from all departments say for eg. Accounts team will have to work from office. Other factors such as growth opportunities does exist however, it is a bit slow. By staying long term in the company and good contribution, one expect good career growth.
