The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning . I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

The most important thing i like about Colgate Palmolive is the work experience as being a Mechanical Engineer and Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering, i have got hands on experience in terms of machine mechanical troubleshooting, utilization of resources, waste and time management, supply chain study, work station design, ergonomics, time and motion study and optimum utilization of manpower.

Dislikes

In terms of monitory benefits the work experience was not taken into consideration during my joining as far as my salary is concern. During my joining i was having the work experience of 6.5 years which is fare enough for this job profile. Also, there is no importance for higher education as i have completed my Master of Engineeringin Industrial Engineering and still working with Job grade 9 which affects my morale. When i was a fresher for this company i used to extend my work hours when i was in A shift to learn more about machines troubleshooting, reading machine manuals as there was no proper training for freshers. I have gained lot of knowledge with short span of time and aiming for better position and wanted to be the asset for this company....Read More

My designation is Team Leader Finishing Hence, i am responsible for handling machine breakdown - RCA - OPL & Kaizen, AM and PM of machines, Production execution, Maintaining the quality parameters, Cleaning and Sanitization of filling machines etc.

Work days: Rotational Shift (Strict Timings)
