The most important thing i like about Colgate Palmolive is the work experience as being a Mechanical Engineer and Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering, i have got hands on experience in terms of machine mechanical troubleshooting, utilization of resources, waste and time management, supply chain study, work station design, ergonomics, time and motion study and optimum utilization of manpower.

Dislikes

In terms of monitory benefits the work experience was not taken into consideration during my joining as far as my salary is concern. During my joining i was having the work experience of 6.5 years which is fare enough for this job profile. Also, there is no importance for higher education as i have completed my Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and still working with Job grade 9 which affects my morale. When i was a fresher for this company i used to extend my work hours when i was in A shift to learn more about machines troubleshooting, reading machine manuals as there was no proper training for freshers. I have gained lot of knowledge with short span of time and aiming for better position and wanted to be the asset for this company.

The work life balance is good. Employees working in a hybrid mode in every month.

Dislikes

Salary seems low , specially for those persons who are coming from a different city and staying in Mumbai. Appraisal is also average. Getting Promotion is very difficult here. As a senior analyst in business analytics domain my salary is below average than the whole industry. Sometimes managers use to micro-manage.

Boss treated cheap,he dont know what is wrong what is right,recognition zero,given less salary ,work heavy,no work life balance morning 6 am to night 11:30 market and system updates,no promotion this position presently destroyed ..
