The key issue as an engineer while working with Citec is lack of learning opportunities. This is primarily due to two reasons: 1) most projects are with one company and for most part you'll be dealing with standards and documents related to that company only, leading to very poor knowledge of practices and standards followed elsewhere. 2) Being a small firm they don't have dedicated team of drafters, leading to a situation where bulk of your time will go in drafting and/or modeling. This leads you further away from time spent dealing with engineering problems and causes problems if you try to switch elsewhere as an engineer...Read More
