Mind boiling pressure at work. Manager calls you after work at any time even at mid night and give you work which needs to be completed and sent on email on the same night. No patience from top management. They are continuously putting pressure on everyone. Company has removed more than 40℅ of the workforce. Silent layoff is going on for so long as well. Chegg is on the verge of shutting down.

The only goof thing about chegg was its work life balance

There are a lot of things to dislike: Management is very poor. Specially the HR head. There is a lot of favouritism done. I can vouch that for the content team which i was a part of. The managers within this team were people who hardly knew what they were doing. If there is any task of just talking gibberish, then they are master of it.

Someone said: India is a dumping ground for US. I totally agree to it. Felt it after joining. No one and I literally mean No one in India questions the US people. They do whatever you have been asked. Late night calls, do it according to US people. You build a project, get it reviewed from US. They look at you like you don't worth it. Cheap labour. India team tries to get in good books of US, always still it's not enough. Showing is mor than doing because US team needs to see it. Depends on managers to managers.
