I have the following offers: 1. Exl - 24 lpa fixed + 12% variable + 2 lakhs joining bonus Position - manager 2. Infinite computer solutions - 30 lpa fixed 3. Excellent culture, excellent peers, very employee friendly organisation. I faced issue with unnecessary politics and poor leadership in some places however I got to see what a great manager looks like. Overall I was very satisfied with USL

Company says very openly about premiumisation and selling quality over quantity. However USL's main product McDowell's no. 1 is not a premium whisky and while no. 1 is the most sold whisky in India, USL does not see a long future in McDowell's. As such it is closing a no. of factories and retrenching many workers. It even sold a lotof smaller less profitable brands. The overall strength of the company has been cut by 70% in the last 10 years alone and company closing so many factories with more in pipeline. As one of the senior managers put it USL leadership does not have a clue on what to do with iconic brands like McDowell's. As such if someone wants to have a company where they can work for more no. of years, they should look elsewhere as there is lot of uncertainty in Supply....Read More
