Its a good place to start your career. And if you are in the right project, then you get to learn niche technologies. Also a good place to gain knowledge of healthcare domain.

Dislikes

Things have been sliding down post Oracle acquisition. There have been no hikes / promotions since the acquisition. And the mass layoffs mean there is no job security. Most of the employees from Cerner era have already quit or laid off. And the new employees who replaced them have no knowledge of the architectural design and there is nobody available to learn from.

Cerner is a good place to work with lot of learnings on Healthcare domain. You get a good exposure to technical learning also. A well balanced work culture, equal opportunity and innovative company. The Leadership is very good with an open eye to ideas and different implementation methodologies.
