There has been a bit of turmoil lately, things aren't same as it used to be. Witnessed many getting fired. There has been holds on yearly hike for 2years. Many who are new suffer due to dropping resources and the knowledge gap that gets created.

Lot of free time to learn things in the background. If you are interested in a job which comes with job safety, albeit comparatively lower pay, and demands very little of you and expects very little in terms of new skills, this is a perfect place to be in.

Dislikes

Poor pay, no appraisals for 2 years across company. Even when they LAST scheduled appraisals, the hike wasn't inspiring. Product not relevant in Indian market and Indian product team have no product background and product related work. Horrible division of responsibilities and work across teams working on a product. US and India teams working on same product are part of different companies (Oracle Health in US and Oracle Cerner in India) with their independent leadership hierarchies, resulting in extremely poor co-ordination wrt to product development....Read More

There are lot of things to dislike currently. No apraisal from past 2 years. No goodies, no appreciation.. absolutely no motivation to strive better. Technology used are not the trending in market hence not good even with respect to learning or upskilling.

They only major Dislike would be that they lag the monitory and the promotions to the employees which would actually bring down the motivations for the employe to actively contribute.

Depends on which team you are. Some are amazing to work with, and some have office politics to deal with.

Dislikes

No hikes for past 3 years. But now new employees are hired by Oracle, might get better offer. New employees will earn more than the current senior employees.

It is very difficult to find teams with culture this good. Everyone is entirely supportive and professional. It's a huge plus. Makes everything bearable.

Dislikes

Depending on the work you do, there may not be enough opportunities for growth. Need better appraisal. It's great to be treated well but the monetary compensation matters too.
