A few very good people who genuinely try, but apart from that there's absurd amount of negativity in teams.

Dislikes

Not a good organisation to Join for experienced folks. 1. Blame games seemed like a pretty common occurrence. 2. Majority of the folks are probably because of "Golden Handcuffs"/Money Trap or they cannot be hired someplace else. 3. Less work, more bs all the time. If you suck it up to your EM, all's good else "prepare for the worst". 4. Childish policies like "Lunch break will be at 1 pm" exact, Stand Ups at 8:30 AM sharp. Cameras should be on in all meetings. *some are understandable though because majority of the employees have that cowboy attitude* 5. Junior team members pretend like "Know it all's", and do whatever they want, whenever they want *Because obviously they have been here longer than you and fluent in bs that drives the team * God help you if you join as a Lead and start on a wrong foot with your manager.* My experience might be specific to a team or product hence trying my level best not to generalise....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
