Salary & perks are good and paid exactly on time; job security; self-contained residential campus life

Dislikes

Too conventional work style; high disparity between non-teaching and teaching; poor faculty standards though labelled as Ph.D. Non-teaching staff only up to a level are invited to social gatherings; setting examples of discrimination. Students are smarter than faulty which lead to vengeful ego from faculty side. Everything faculty-centered.

The saying about teachers is "who can't enjoy humour, keen to be saluted by all; stingy to the core, and who stop learning when they start teaching", and my view in this matter is "just like politics is the same everywhere in the world, teachers too are very much the same everywhere." BITS Pilani's plus advantage is ITS STUDENTS selected without reservation, or capitation money, or recommendation, but coming to the system by cracking a highly competitive examination. BITS pay well that too on the last day of the month....Read More
