- Just the travel you get to Taj once a year (starting 2023 even that’ll also not happen) - Good office events (this time for BEK they’re taking to IPL match)

- Terrible work/life balance. You’re expected to work till 12-1AM (sometimes even more) even though you log in at 9AM. - Too political environment. Gossips are encouraged instead of anything productive. - Burnout of employees are seen in good light and it’s encouraged. - No scope of growth for DevOps/software engineers. - Smart employees - beware of joining this place as you’ll be either rewarded with average feedback or you’ll be marked for PIP to push you out (just to spoil your career at BCG), where the managers are helpless and unable to help you out. - Promotion (they call it CDC) is a sham process and everything is decided in 2 meetings - one with HR and one with the manager. Not at all transparent and you’re communicated over email about your hike/promotion/bonus. - Don’t fall into the false promise of bonuses they tell about when you join BCG - it’s all a scam. They only provide single digit increment every year end even if you stay up late, deliver on client's expectations at the cost of your health. - If you’re offered a direct position in one of BCG’s “products”, run away! Just run, don’t answer to the further interviews ever again and look for some other opportunity. - All managers who are 6+ years with BCG are uncles/aunties who are trying to be hip. - Not recommended for youngsters. Those who joined left after 1-2 years with BCG - 4 years tops. - Only few uncles/aunties rule BCG ACC India as dictators and they think it’s all left for them by their ancestors. Working with BCG is an exceptional experience; we get to meet and collaborate with colleagues from various spectrums, overall creating a very healthy and positive working environment. You are given loads of opportunities to hone your skillsets and work on needs improvement pointers.

Not so competitive salary structure. Appraisals are generic to entire team and not to your individual performance. Equal opportunities for growth is limited to only experienced members of the team.

So, you have to handle 8 people' s work. (Calendar, travel, expense). These are your Stake holders, they will never be satisfied and at the time of feedback they will recall one mistake and write that on your feedback. Since, it's a remote work no one will bother to appreciate you. 2. U can't just apply for leave you have to arrange backup. Take leave approval from manager, approach colleagues request them. 3. No one knows people who are getting promotion why they are getting it. So equality doesn't work here.
