One thing that I admire about Back Benchers the most, amongst other things, with respect to writing, is that it isn't about the number of experience years you bring but about the quality of ideas and the commitment to delivering them well. Bring in your creativity, a drive to work beyond the scope of your responsibilities, ability to or at least the willingness to learn handling high-pressure situations and you won't regret your decision. The operative word being your willingness and determination to put in the effort, to make something happen. Moreover, it a place where learning happens everyday. Be it under the undergraduate division where creativity is key and you're free reign to use your imagination to create something incredible or under the master's division. In my experience under the master's division, where not only did I learn from interacting with a variety of people but also from the team lead. She guided me throughout my training and ensured that I became capable of mitigating the challenges that are a part of working in this service sector role. Additionally, the environment and work culture provide you with the support and space required by a writer to create something worthwhile. Although Back Benchers is a wonderful place to work at, every space has it discrepancies. Owing to the nature of the job, Burnouts seem unavoidable and sometimes that can damper your creative output and cause frustration. Be on the lookout for that and talk to your supervisors.
